Wednesday 26th October
The Sydney Summers Series is an exciting program of after-work running events for those who would like a navigational challenge in the cool of Sydney's summer evenings.
The events are time based rather than distance based. You have 45 minutes to visit as many checkpoints or local features as your fitness and skills allow. These checkpoints are marked on specially prepared orienteering maps that help you navigate your way around the local parks, streets and bush tracks where events are held.
The events attract walkers and joggers through to champion runners and are open between 4:00pm and 6:00pm. Runners can start at any time within these times. This week's event is at Nield Park, Henley Marine Drive, Rodd Point.

Thank you so much JayKay for posting this. I have saved the link and will be showing DH when he gets home. Whilst a bit early for our normal workday there are a few that are not far from where we live. I think we'll tag a couple and get someone to look after the kids for a couple of hours. It sounds like so much fun. :)
