The 4 Peaks Bright Alpine Climb 2005

Enjoy climbing........
Mystic Hill, Mt Feathertop, Mt Hotham & Mt Buffalo during the Melbourne Cup weekend in Oct/Nov.

The Bright Alpine Climb, also known as the Four Peaks Climb, started in 1979 to get walkers into the hills to enjoy of the superb scenery the area has to offer.Runners have joined the climbers and have added excitement to the event.

Many Olympians use the event for conditioning.Some famous athletes have won. Paul Crake is a 4 time winner. He is a world mountain champion and has won the Rialto Stair Chase and is a record holder for the empire State Building Chase. Greg Mandile has won the Otway Classic. Lavinia Petrie, another joint winner has held the Australasian record for the 50 mile, 50 km, 30 mile, 40 mile and also the 6 hour event.

The run is for all ages. ….. Trophies for all divisions if numbers suffice from... under 15 to 65 plus.

...Everyone with a 4 day ticket can win from a prize pool of over $5,000.
